For me, a great haircut starts with understanding your hair-not fighting against it.

I begin every haircut with a shampoo so I can see your hair in its natural state. This allows me to evaluate its texture, density, natural growth patterns, cowlicks, natural part, and how the hair works with your head shape. From there, I can create a cut and style designed specifically around your hair and how it naturally wants to move.

This is especially valuable for men dealing with thinning or receding hair, stubborn cowlicks, or those who have worn the same hairstyle for years simply because they aren’t sure what other options they have. Sometimes, something as simple as discovering that you’ve been parting your hair on the wrong side can completely change how easily your hair styles and how good it looks.

My goal isn’t to give every man the latest haircut. It’s to find the haircut that works best for you-one that complements your features, makes the most of the hair you have, and requires less product and less time fighting with it in the morning.

I also cut with the grow-out in mind. A well-designed haircut shouldn’t only look good the day you leave my chair. It should maintain its shape and continue looking good as it grows, giving you more time before you feel like you need another haircut.
